Wild and Wonderful DREAM COME TRUE…

Whispering Forest was first emerged as a concept in 2017 between Ece Savas and Ivan Dyelallov, from their shared love for nature and interest in creating something authentic and beautiful.

At the time, Ece was a brand designer running her freelance business in Toronto. She was also teaching yoga part time. Ivan had a successful business as a flooring installer. They met each other at a Martial Arts Dojo where they were a part of for many years. Tired of feeling stuck in the cyclical nature of work to pay bills, they looked for a way out.

Inspired by a trip with a friend, Ece and Ivan decided to build an off-grid and sustainable home/business near Algonquin Park where they stated their relationship many years ago. So their journey begun in 2018 by purchasing a 45 acres forest land. They dreamed big and acted bravely embarking on a long journey of building a house from ground up.

Our values

To enable and inspire a healthy, balanced and peaceful lifestyle by taking you out to nature where everything is in harmony by creation. Our goal is to create a beautiful space that is custom-designed with love and self-built with intention to host programs and facilitate events/retreats to nurture mind, body and soul.

Whether you stay for the day, the weekend or for a month, the essence of our offerings are built on a foundation of soul-care. Our approach is rooted in simple sustainable lifestyle, physical movement and authentic connections. Core belief is that there is healing wisdom in surrounding oneself with the natural world.

We offer a strong focus on nervous system regulation, honouring internal wisdom, ceremony and playfulness. Also there is a particular focus on creating and nurturing community by hosting gatherings, events and by simply living in collaboration and reciprocity. We aim to cultivate lovingness in all our programs.
